The Second Coming of Christ

After the crucifixion and resurrection, Christ’s parousia, or presence, began with His second coming as the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. This is the way in which Jesus Christ literally returned in His Body of believers, which is the Church.

This presence continued until the destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem in 70 AD, which marked the vindication of the Christians to be the true believers in Christ. It was the end of apostate Israel and the crowning of Christ. It is the vindication of God's Word. ''And in the fulfilling of the Day of Pentecost, they were all together in the same place. And there was suddenly a sound out of heaven, as being borne along by a violent wind, and it filled all of the house where they were sitting. And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed, and it sat on each one of them. And they were all filled of the Mentality of Separation, and began to speak in other tongues, as the Mentality gave them to speak.'' (Acts 2:1-4)

The presence of Christ began with His second coming on the Day of Pentecost. It continued until the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 A.D. This was fulfillment of prophecy. All prophecy regarding Jesus the Anointed was completed in that time and age. The second coming and the Apocalypse have been completed. God's Church, His believers on Earth, still continue to set up and follow His mandates for them in the here and now. This includes raising God-fearing families, having dominion over the Earth, fulfilling separation from the world, and living the Word of God.

Theistic Preterism

Theistic Preterism is the belief that all prophecies of the New Testament regarding the “Second Coming” and the Apocalypse” (Revelations) have already been fulfilled. In fact, all prophecies in general have been fulfilled and are now historical events. Compared to the numerous Futurist and Presentist viewpoints, Theistic Preterism is the only view that fully accepts the New Testament as being divinely inspired and which does not in some way, call the Bible or its Author, Jesus Christ a liar.

The Government of God is the Living Body of Jesus Anointed, made up of those Christians who are truly persuaded in Him and hence in the truth of his word. They are known by their works/actions, by their behavior; i.e., ''Persuasion [faith] without actions is DEAD'' (Jacob 2:26b). If the Government of God [Kingdom] of Heaven is not alive and present on this earth, then neither we nor the disciples would have been commanded to ''SEEK FIRST the Government of God'' (Matt 6:33). Why? Because it could not have existed THEN and it couldn’t exist NOW.

If the Government of God is something that exists only in Heaven, as the spiritualists say, or only in the future as your millennialists say, then it was UNATTAINABLE, and Jesus would not have wasted his words, commanding us to “SEEK FIRST the Government of God.” It couldn’t have been established by the disciples nor anyone else for the past 2,000 years (except after death, if you follow the spiritualist viewpoint). Yet, in the Lord’s Prayer, they were praying praying, “on earth as it is in Heaven….”

The Futurist view, that the “apocalypse” is to be in some as of yet undetermined date in the future, denies the AUTHORITY of God given to the Christians HERE and NOW. Yes, I know good folk who are working and building even now. But, my point is that for every one that is actively building and teaching, there are a few dozen caught up in the belief that Christians for the past 2,000 years are commanded to “wait” and that we do not have “at this time” the “authority” of God to bring in the Kingdom, that we must first “wait” for “Revelations” to come to pass. Of course, our American forefathers didn’t wait in 1776, and neither did any Christian nation since the time of Christ.

To abdicate the Authority of Jesus Anointed is to give it to his enemies, those bastards that exist “outside” the City of God (Rev. 22:15). If you belong to Jesus Anointed, then you are Priests to God and you are governed by Him. To Christians, He wears the Crown and rules over us.

The Greek word commonly translated “Revelations” is apocalypsis, from where we get the “Apocalypse”, but it is best translated as “unveiling.” The unveiling of Jesus’ Government began when the veil in the Temple was torn in two at the moment of His death and the Holiest of holies was revealed to us all (Luke 23:45). The Government of Jesus Anointed was fully unveiled/revealed when the Romans destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD. It was at that moment that the governmental administration of Moses by the Levitical Priesthood ENDED and the Government of Jesus Anointed BEGAN. If It did not, then Jesus would have no authority or power over His children even now – but He does, for He is God, and He has “made us a government and priests unto God.”

Jesus did not leave His Work “half-done,” He finished His Work, and He DOES sit on the Throne of God as King of Kings and Master of Masters. If he did not, then the futurists would be right and Christians would have not authority to rule in the Authority of Jesus Anointed, nor to follow the Adamic command in Genesis to subdue the earth. But, there is Good News, true Christians are the Living Body of Jesus Anointed and do have his Authority. The Book of the Revelation opens: ''The revelation [unveiling] of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto His servants things which must shortly come to pass'' (Rev 1:1). As you should know, the word “shortly” comes from the Greek word tachus, in this case Strong’s # 5034 tachos: “from the same as 5036: a brief space [of time], ie. (with 1722 prefix) in haste”; and SRN 5036 tachus, “fleet, i.e. prompt or ready.” IS 2,000 YEARS AFTER THE FACT SHORTLY? No. In this verse, the prefix “en” [1722] adds an even greater urgency; it should require an exclamation point!!!

Revelation opens with this pronounced language or urgency and ends the same way: ''The [One) testifying these things says, 'Yes, I am coming QUICKLY [tachus]. So be it.'' (Rev 22:20). The immediacy of the fulfilment of the Revelation is expressed in verses 1:1,3; 2:5, 16; 3:11; 22:6,7; 12, 20. Either God has failed (which he is unable to do), or He has changed His Mind (which He does not do), or, it is MEN who have failed to recognize that HE is already PRESENT – Present in the form of His Holy Spirit or Separating Mentality that indwells His Family - Body. In “unwarranted temporal arrogance” men have believed at certain times that Revelation was written only to their particular age and time. At 1,000 AD certain men looked for the Apocalypse. At 2,000 AD men looked for the Apocalypse.

How many people have come to a bad end because of a genuine but misguided belief in a coming apocalypse? How many false prophets have benefited by taking advantage of this overzealous, naïve, and selfish viewpoint? Yes, selfish. Many have believed that we could somehow direct God’s timing and bring in “the end times” all by ourselves. Why is this important? Because you must understand that Jesus Anointed is King even now and rules us all by His presence as the Holy Spirit/Comforter. Jesus is already PRESENT.

The Greek word used in the New Testament for 'second coming' is the Greek word Parousia and is translated “presence” and most literally as “being beside.” In most Greek dictionaries, like the one in my UBS Greek NT by Newman, Parousia is incompletely defined as “coming, arrival; presence.” Strong’s #3952 comes closer with “a being near, i.e. advent.” Parousia comes from the verb #5918 pareimi, “to be near, at hand.” A full background of this word is important. To the Greek, it was understood to mean a royal visit of an emperor or king, and that when a new king took the throne, or when he visited, it was his Parousia. Historically, we find advent or Parousia coins struck to commemorate such royal celebrations. The word Parousia was used in connection with the advent of the king’s presence to denote a new epoch or governmental policy or ruling sovereign. Such an event was understood to constitute a new age, or era and was celebrated as such.

You see, as Christians we should understand that Jesus’ “Second Coming” was His “Presence” or “Coming” in the form of His Holy Spirit or Separating Mentality at the first Pentecost after his death and resurrection as described in Acts 2. The Holy Spirit is that “Comforter” mentioned in John 14-16, Who Jesus said would ''teach you all things and remind you of all things that I said to you'' (John 14:26); it was His Spirit/Mentality that ''will guide you into all truth'' (John 16:13). Many prophecies that paralleled the Revelations were yet to be fulfilled, such as those regarding the destruction of the Temple in Matthew 24 and 25, where Jesus’ students asked, ''Tell us when these things will be, and what is the sign of Your presence [Parousia], and the end of the age'' (Matt 24:3). When the book of “Revelation” [apocalypsis, literally “unveiling”] was written by John in 68 AD, this prophecy was to happen “shortly” or “quickly.” However, the history of the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD perfectly lines up with the prophecy of the “Revelation.”

The Israelite historian Josephus thoroughly records this destruction of Jerusalem and the bloody slaughter of all who resided there by the Romans. The Levitical Priesthood was ended, and the Temple was leveled to the ground. This made a complete end of the Levitical Priesthood and the Mosaic administration of God’s Government, and the Government and Administration of God’s law was delivered to Jesus Anointed once and for all time. Jesus prophesied this destruction of Jerusalem in Matt. 24 and elsewhere, and this is why he said, ''then let those in Judea flee to the mountains… For there will be great affliction, such as has not occurred from the beginning of the world until now'' (Matt 24:16-21). This was the crowning of Jesus Anointed, the Day of God.

The Escape to Pella - Christian escape in the fulfillment of prophecy

Christians heeding the Word of the Master fled the city of Jerusalem. The Roman army pulled back for a time allowing the Christian population to get away. The time of vengeance had come on the pharisee Edomites/Idumeans who had corrupted the temple of God. It was the end of the age of flesh and the beginning of the spiritual church of Christ.

''And when you see Jerusalem being encircled by armies, then know that the time of its ruin has come. Then those in Judea, let them flee to the mountains, and those in the midst of it, let them go out, and those in the open spaces, let them not enter into it. For these are days of vengeance; all the things that have been written are to be fulfilled.'' (Luke 21:20-22)

In 66 AD, the Roman army surrounded Jerusalem and almost brought its destruction then. Then, for apparently no reason at all, Cestius Gallus , the commander of the army, ordered a retreat. History records that many Christians fled the city, seeing the signs, such as the Roman eagle and the standards gathered around the city and heeding the words of Jesus Christ

Josephus writes- ''Cestius... suddenly recalled his troops... contrary to all calculation, retired from the city...'' Jewish War II:540. ''After this catastrophe of Cestius many distinguished Judeans abandoned the city as swimmers desert a sinking ship'' Jewish War II:556.

Church Fathers on the matter: ''The whole body, however, of the church at Jerusalem, having been commanded by a divine revelation, given to men of approved piety there before the war, removed from the city, and dwelt at a certain town beyond the Jordan, called Pella.'' Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History book 3, chapt. 5

''So Aquila, while he was in Jerusalem, also saw the disciples of the disciples of the apostles flourishing in the faith and working great signs, healings, and other miracles. For they were such as had come back from the city of Pella to Jerusalem and were living there and teaching. For when the city was about to be taken and destroyed by the Romans, it was revealed in advance to all the disciples by an angel of God that they should remove from the city, as it was going to be completely destroyed. They sojourned as emigrants in Pella, the city above mentioned in Transjordania. And this city is said to be of the Decapolis.'' Epiphanius of Salamis, On Weights and Measures 15

''For on the approach of the Roman army, all the Christians in the province, warned, as ecclesiastical history tells us, miraculously from heaven, withdrew, and passing the Jordan, took refuge in the city of Pella; and under the protection of that King Agrippa, of whom we read in the Acts of the Apostles, they continued some time; but Agrippa himself, with the Judeans whom he governed, was subjected to the dominion of the Romans.'' Remigius, Bishop of Reims (437 – 533 AD)

Events of Jesus’ Parousia

Jesus was born as a man and lived life without sin or failure. As He began His walk as Teacher, He proclaimed, ''The time has been fulfilled, THE GOVERNMENT OF GOD DRAWS NEAR; repent and be persuaded in the Good Message'' (Mark 1:15). He was God as man, ''the Only-Begotten God'' (John 1:18). He suffered persecution, torture and death on the Torture Stake by the hands of a worldly government at the behest of the corrupted Pharisaical Priesthood which swayed the opinion of the Judeans – a priesthood that symbolized the worst corruption, perversion and twisting of the Mosaic administration of God’s Laws ever manipulated by the hands of men and mongrels. At the moment of Jesus’ death the “veil” in the Temple that had concealed the “holiest of holies” was torn open (Luke 23:44; Matt. 27:51; Mark 15:38), the “unveiling” had begun and those things reserved to earthly priests were turned over to our Eternal High Priest by Whom we were made ''a government and priests to our God.''

Jesus fulfilled (filled up) the law of sacrifice for our failures by His death, and then, after His resurrection, He physically presented Himself to his students to prove that He had overcome death. And, as promised, He returned as The Comforter, the Holy Spirit, at that following Pentecost (Acts 2); the indwelling and “being beside” His students in the form of his Guiding Mentality. This indwelling was the birth of his Body Politic [Church] and a Government on earth IN THAT AGE – a Government made up of true Christians who began building His New Temple: Christendom – The City of God – and His Crowning, His Parousia as King of Kings and Master of Masters, was celebrated with the complete destruction of the old Temple in Jerusalem and a bloody end to all of those Judeans who refused to bend the knee to his Authority as King.

Jesus has “been beside” us since. He his “present” and has been ruling His Body Politic in every successive age by the Guidance of His Word and Separating Mentality.

Last Days, End of the Ages

Were the students of Jesus aware of what was to come? They were aware of what was to befall Jerusalem because Jesus’ prophecy in Matthew 24 and the Revelation to John. But, the language of the New Testament makes it very clear that THEY KNEW that they were in “the last days.” The author of Hebrews wrote: ''But now once, AT THE COMPLETION OF THE AGES, He has been revealed for the putting away of failure through His sacrifice. And, as it is reserved to men once to die, and after this the judgement, so the Anointed, having been offered to bear the failures of many, will appear a second time without failure to those expecting Him for salvation'' (Heb 9:26-28) see also 1:2 & 8:13.

Matthew quoted Jesus as saying: ''Truly, I say to you, There are some standing here who will in now way taste of death until they see the Son of man coming in His Government'' (Matt 16:28). And Paul said: ''And these things happened to them, and it was written for a warning to us, to whom THE END OF THE AGES HAS ARRIVED'' (1 Cor 10:11). And Peter wrote to those of his day: ''But the end of all things has drawn near. Be of sound mind then, and be disciplined concerning prayers'' (1 Peter 4:7). And there are many more such verses.

Pillars of Smoke

There are a number of cases where the KJV OT refers to “pillars of smoke.” Many futurist preachers believe these pillars to be nuclear mushroom clouds. One case is Joel 2:30 (KJV) “And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire and pillars of smoke.” So, in their unwarranted temporal arrogance, such preachers teach that this to happen “in the future” at the “second coming’ and “perhaps in our lifetime” (“in 1979,” “at the millennium,” “1,000 AD,” etc. , etc., etc.).

Problem is these preachers don't understand the concept of audience relevance which state that in order to understand a text, it is essential to understand how the original primary audience would have understood it. In Acts 2, when the Students of Jesus received the Holy Spirit, this verse of the prophet Joel is cited: ''But THIS is that thing which has been spoken through the prophet Joel, ‘And it will be’ IN THE LAST DAYS, God says, ‘I will pour from my Mentality [Spirit] on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams, and on My male slaves and on My female slaves, in those days I will pour out My Mentality, and they will prophesy. And I will give wonders in the heaven above, and signs in the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Master. And it will be that everyone, whoever calls on the authority of the Master will be saved'' (Acts 2:16-21) [quoting Joel 2:28-32 LXX].

Sounds very much like some preacher’s predictions of a nuclear war, doesn’t it? Except that this author makes it clear that this prophecy was meant for THEN and NOT some time in “our” future. In the KJV, Joel 2:30 reads “pillars of smoke” instead of the NT “vapor of smoke.” But, if you recall your Bible history, the NT quotes the Greek Septuagint (LXX) when it cites the OT, and the LXX also reads “vapor of smoke.” Even if the Jewish Masoretic Text of the OT were trustworthy, “pillars of smoke” were not an uncommon sight in the ancient world. What many had seen in that age, and what many saw at the destruction of Jerusalem, were cities burning in times of war, which make pillars of smoke on a still day, “Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.” The authors of that age knew what they were talking about; it is only men today with their assumptions that such things have not yet occurred and were written “for them.” BUT, THE AUTHOR OF “ACTS” SAID THIS PROPHECY WAS FOR THEN.

Wheat and Tares

In Matthew 13, Jesus spoke a few of His most memorable parables. His students asked Him why He spoke in parables, and He said ''Because to you it has been given to know the mysteries of the Government of the Heavens, but it has not been given to those. For whoever has, to him it will be given, and he will have abundance. But whoever does not have, even that which he has will be taken away'' (Matt 13:11-12). As with the rest of His ministry, Jesus’ parables teach things concerning the Government/Kingdom of God. Always keep in mind that ''the Government of God is within you'' (Luke 17:21), and that God ''has changed us into the Government of the Son'' (Col 1:13). Such a Government is not something for the future; it is alive and working in every generation of the sons of Adam.

As we read in Matthew 13 and the different parables concerning the Government of God, the vigilant student will immediately notice that the KJV hasa number of mistranslations. The most blatant is the word “world.” In the Queen James Version, the translators made a number of 'uniform errors', one of which was to translate two entirely different words as “world”:aion#165 meaning “age”; and kosmos #2889, most commonly translated “world.” Simply using Strong’s is not sufficient here, although he does give the foregoing definitions, he also leans upon personal doctrine in his full definition (poor scholarship at best). These definitions can be confirmed by most good lexicons and dozens of updated translations. In the KJV, “world” is found in six cases in Matthew 13: verses 22 (165), 35 (2889), 39 (165), 40 (165), 49 (165). Take careful note of the four verses that should be translated “age” (165). Why is this so important? Because, when looking at the harvest of the wheat and the tares [or darnel seed] the reader of the KJV gets the impression that the harvest of the wheat and the burning of the tares comes “in the end of this world.” But, properly translated, this verse says this harvest was to be ''at the completion of this age'' (Matt 13:40). Another commonly mistranslated word is “angel” SRN #32 reads, “a messenger; esp. an ‘angel’; by implication a pastor.” Strong’s properly defines the Greek angelos as “messenger,” which agrees with every major lexicon, but then he leans on personal opinion by adding “esp. an angel.” Angelos is from angello, meaning “to bear a message” or “tell.”

There is not one definition in any lexicon which assigns a supernatural meaning to the Greek word angelos. We should always look the use of a word to understand its meaning. There are many kinds of “messengers.” Jesus was The Messenger, The Holy Spirit or Comforter is his current form. As I write this to you, I am a messenger. The authors of the New Testament were messengers. The Romans sent a final message from God to the Judeans, who refused to – or could not – hear Jesus Anointed and stayed in Jerusalem. Now, let’s apply these properly defined words to our parables. In Matthew 13, Jesus’ first parable is that of “The Sower” (13: 3-9). He describes a Sower sowing seed. Some seed fell on the wayside where birds ate them, others on rocky ground where they dried up and died, others were smothered by thorns, but “others fell upon the good earth, and yielded fruit.” Jesus then explains His parable in verses 18-23: ''Everyone hearing the Word of the Government and not understanding, the evil one comes and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is that sown by the wayside. And that sown on the rocky places is this: the one hearing the Word and receiving it at once with joy, but has no root in himself, but this is temporary, and tribulation or persecution occurring through the Word, He is at once offended. And that was sown into the thorns is this: the one hearing the Word and the anxiety of this age and the deceit of the riches choke the Word, and it become unfruitful. But that sown on the good earth, this is the one hearing the Word and understanding, who indeed bears and produces fruit; truly, one, a hundred, and one, sixty, and one, thirty.''

It is clear from this parable that each one hearing indeed has “the Government of God within” himself. This is also understood by the parable which follows immediately of “The Wheat and the Tares” (or Darnel [SRN 2215, “darnel or false grain”]) in Matt. 13:25-30. It is clear that these two parables are directly related, for while the first talks about the individual grain, the second talks about the Harvest. Again, the Sower sows “good seed” in his fields. ''But while the men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed darnel [a type of weed] among the wheat and went away. '' As the seeds begin to grow, the slaves of the houseowner see the darnel growing with the wheat, and their master tells them that this was done by an enemy. He then commands his slaves not to gather the darnel, lest some of the wheat get uprooted, but to wait until the harvest, and then his reapers will ''Collect first the darnel and bind them into bundles to burn them, but the wheat bring together into my granary'' (Matt 13:30). Later, in 13:36-43, Jesus explains His parable. ''The one sowing the good seed is the Son of man. And the field is the world, and the good seed, these are the sons of the Government; but the darnel are the sons of the evil one. And the enemy who sowed them is the Diabolical One, and the harvest is the completion of the age, and the reapers are messengers. As, therefore, the darnel is collected and is consumed in the fire, thus it will be in the completion of THIS AGE. The Son of man will send His messengers, and they will gather out of his government all the offenses and those who practice lawlessness, and they will cast them into the furnace of the fire: there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. THEN the just will shine forth as the sun in the Government of their Father. He having ears to hear, let him hear.''

As recorded by Josephus, those Judeans rejecting Anointed Jesus were like a bundle of dead darnel weeds who refused to hear His Word and His warnings, and they perished within the walls of Jerusalem which the Romans turned into a furnace of fire. The Word says that ''it is reserved to men once to die, and after this the judgement'' (Heb 9:27). We will each stand before God on our personal day of judgement, just as they did. It behooves us not to follow their example. Jerusalem was “the” harvest of harvests. But, there is something many men forget to notice here, and that is that harvests come in season. Harvests are part of a continual world cycle. This symbology applies to the rise and fall of nations. It still applies to the Father planting seeds in spring, tending them throughout the early season, and then reaping in the fall. Jesus has made us not only fishers of men, but workers in harvest. ''Indeed the harvest is great, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Master of the harvest, that He send out workers into His harvest.'' (Luke 10:2).

Good Christians are God’s workers planting “seeds of thought” in the minds of men. Workers tend the crops, but God makes them grow. It is our present mission to plant a great harvest in our age, but to be very mindful of those bastards who come in and plant seeds that do not belong; they are enemies of our Master. Going back to Matt. 13:24-30, note the words “men” (vs. 25) and “slaves” (vss. 2728), are both comparable to “messengers;” all workers for Harvest. Then consider the words of Paul concerning active Christians: ''So he planting and he watering are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his labor. For we are FELLOW-WORKERS OF GOD, a FIELD of God, and you are a BUILDING of God.'' (1 Cor 3:8-9).

Each and every one of us is called a worker and a messenger, building up the Government, which is the House of God in this age. Let us build a perfect House, built upon the foundation of Jesus Anointed, not like rotten Jerusalem and those corrupt churches of the past two thousand years that have been tried by fire and burned (1 Cor. 3:10-17). I shouldn’t have to explain the racial significance in the parable of the Net (Matt. 13:47-50). Nor should I have to explain that in the parable of the Treasure (13:44), that “the field is the world” (13:38), which Jesus purchased because of the great treasure hidden there. And that in the parable of the Pearl (13:45-46), that the very precious pearl was Israel (Psa. 135:4; Ex. 19:5; Deut. 7:7), the nation and family which all good Adamites of the “nations” are joined to as “Christians” (the “new name” by which Israel is called). Always remember, in this world there are men who are physical mongrels, and there are white men who are mongrels in mind – neither belong within the Body Politic of Jesus Anointed.

These are the Parables of “the Government of the Heavens,” and if we are in Jesus Anointed, part of His Body, then God has ''made us alive by the Anointed (by favor you are saved), and raised us up from the dead together and seated us together in the heaven in Jesus Anointed, that He might show in the coming ages the exceeding riches of His favor in kindness toward us in Anointed Jesus'' (Eph 2:5-7). Did you catch that? It says, “seated together in the heaven”? That was written by Paul while he was alive in the flesh to men who were also alive in the flesh – not to dead men in heaven.

The Government of the Heavens is now, the Living Body Politic of Jesus Anointed of which He is the active Head. The City of God in Revelations 21:9-10, we read (in part): '' 'Come, I will show you THE BRIDE, the wife of the Lamb.' And he carried me in the mentality onto a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, separated Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God...'' We read here that the Great City is Jerusalem, a new Jerusalem, the bride of Christ. As Christians should already know, “the bride” is symbolic of Israel. Today, this indicates true Adamic Christians. However, in contradiction of Scripture, futurists believe that this new Jerusalem is a city of the future, to come “after the Revelations.” However, the closing description in Revelations reads, ''Blessed are those who wash their robes, that their authority will be over the Tree of Life, and they may enter into the city through the gates. BUT OUTSIDE, the dogs and the pharmakeia promoters and the whores and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone loving and making a lie.'' (Rev 22:14-15). ‘BUT OUTSIDE….’ If the New Jerusalem is to be in the future, and all evil is to be removed from the cosmos, THEN WHY DO ALL THE EVIL BASTARDS STILL EXIST OUTSIDE THE CITY? Perhaps it was because they existed at the same time, adjacent to the City of God? This is why Christians are a “separated nation,” a separated Body, separate from those who do not belong in mind and in actions.

Christians make up the Living Body of Jesus Anointed on this earth, the House of God (1 Tim 3:15; 1 Cor 3:16); The 'Ekklesia', a Greek word commonly translated as church, or assembly or governing body. The author of Hebrews combines and defines many of these symbolic terms used for the Israel of the Living God (Christianity) when he wrote ''But you have DRAWN NEAR to Mount Zion and a city of the Living God, to a heavenly Jerusalem, and to ten-thousands of messengers, and to an assembly, a Body Politic of first born ones enrolled in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the mentalities of just ones who have been completed, and to Jesus, Mediator of a New Covenant, and to blood of sprinkling, speaking better things than that of Abel'' (Heb 12:22-24).

The City of God exists in every age; it exists now because our Master Jesus Anointed sits upon His Throne, ruling the nations of Israel. It is self-governing, because true Christians have the Mentality of God within them. It is self-purging, because Christians are to be self-purging. It is good, because ''The one doing good is of God, the one doing evil has not seen God'' (3 John 1:11). The city is in this kosmos/world, because Jesus prayed ''I do not petition that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from evil. They are not of this world as I Am not of the world'' (John 17:15-16). It is a Separated City, because God is Separated from all evil. And, the City of God is made up of solid and unshakeable Christians, because we are instructed ''Therefore, receiving an unshakeable Government, let us have favor, through which we may well-pleasingly serve God with reverence and fear; for truly, 'Our God is a consuming fire' '' (Heb 12:28-29). The Government and Body Politic of Jesus Anointed is now. The path to that City is narrow, strict and disciplined, but the joy of this place is ruled by the Perfect Law of Liberty.
